How PG Picks Works
A quick, honest explanation of what you see on PG Picks.
What “PG Picks Verified” means
PG Picks has confirmed the business identity and contact information associated with the listing. Verification is not an endorsement or a guarantee of workmanship, pricing, licensing, insurance or future performance. Any credentials a business mentions are submitted for review and are not shown as confirmed. Always check credentials yourself before hiring.
Published listings
A business appears publicly only after PG Picks has reviewed, verified and published it. Being listed does not mean PG Picks recommends one business over another.
Reviews and ratings
Ratings come only from published customer reviews. Reviews, edits and owner responses are checked by PG Picks before they appear, to make sure they follow the Review Guidelines. Moderation does not prove that a review is true — reviews are customers' own opinions.
How results are ordered
The Recommended order uses how well a business matches your search and its published review evidence (rating and number of reviews). You can also sort by highest rated or most reviewed.
Membership and payment do not buy a better Recommended ranking, and they never change ratings, reviews or Verified status. Paid members may appear in separate areas labelled "Sponsored", "Featured Pros" and "Paid placement" — those are advertising spots, not Recommended results. Sponsored spots show only matching Pro, Premium and Founding Pro members with equal priority; Featured spots show Premium and Founding Pro members. Both rotate fairly and ignore ratings. Sponsored spots appear only with the Recommended sort; Highest rated and Most reviewed are never affected.
Contacting a business
Call, email and website buttons connect you directly with the business. Some businesses also offer a Request a Quote form — your request goes only to that business, which decides whether to reply. Business websites are run by the businesses themselves, not PG Picks.
